OMGOSH I think you and I are kindred spirits! When ever someone accidentally texts me or calls me I wait like a couple months then I text them and mostly im just fooling around with them because its fun. But I did meet someone from utube once...didn't go anywhere thought. But try not to seem super desperate like you did in your post and you'll get friends in no time.
