Is it normal when you're texting someone and they're constantly texting 'lol' for no appearent reason Like:
'how r u?'
'lol! how r u?'
'fine, wats up?'
'lol'
'watcha doin'?'
'Nada lol!!'
NOTHING is funny and I know he can't honestly be laughing unless he's seriously dumb or he doesn't understand the meaning of 'lol' You ever get those kinds of people?

    "Lol" has gone from meaning "laugh out loud" to "I'm bored..."

    It's annoying as hell when people do that. I usually do the same thing back to them until they get the point i'm trying to make.
    (ex:)
    - nada! Lol!
    - lol! That's great lol! Me either lol!

    Or you could hit them with one of these:
    "-__-"

    Completely agree. If people say lol when someone says "Hi", I suspect a severe mental condition. When I offer to take them to the sanitorium for immediate sectioning, they say lol again. I guess there's no hope for them. Poor bastards. It's a sickness that sucks out any sign of intelligence.

    I do it all the time. I usually don't realize I'm doing it. Or if I do realize I'm doing it, it's only cause I don't know what else to say... lol. :)
