Is it normal to talk to bugs?

Every now and then I go outside and talk to bugs. I do not know why I do this, It is just a weird habit. What makes this really weird is that I actually have a conversation with them, not just "Ha ha, where are you going Mr. bug?" but "Hi there Sam, how are you doing today? I was repentantly thinking about world hunger and..." Ect.ect.

I have friends that I can talk to but I still do it. Why?

    "Repentantly thinking about the word hunger", huh? So what happened, did you sweet talk a bug, then pick it up and eat it? If you're gonna eat the poor bugs then please have the decency to not burden them worth your feeble words.

    If I know bugs, Sam is probably thinking with buzzing, ganglionar bug-thoughts whether or not he can eat you, live in you or whether he should run away or not once he smells you.
