If i have a lot on my mind, ill think it out loud to myself and for myself to help me focus on the task at hand at that very moment. Sometimes when im alone, ill think out loud automatically because, no one is around.
I can pretend to have conversations with anyone i know or have met. Its all a part of my super observant personality.
Sometimes ill even think about something to myself, and then reply out loud like, "Hell no!".
Frankly speaking, my brain is doing a million things at every second (blood circulation, reflexes, etc). I like to make sure that i stay focused or, just have someone to listen (me).
I dont believe this can be mentally unhealthy, however its not the norm for "most" people. Personally i dont have any close friends, never really did. I suppose this is my main reason for thinking out loud
Is it normal to talk about your thoughts out loud to yourself?
