Is it normal to take the long way home

I just realized I intentionally took the long way home from work. I was thinking why get there sooner if there is nothing to do or anyone to see except for my bed basically. It normally takes 45 minutes but today my route will take 90. I'm stuck in stop and go traffic. AND I HATE TRAFFIC. I feel like an idiot. I usually race home so I can EAT

Go for it, man. Adventure should never be questioned. I sometimes just take a long drive to get my head straight and to see the scenery where I usually wouldn't travel. I've hitchhiked across US country, and even though my rip ended in shambles, the venture to get there was amazing. :) Just enjoy it, man. Live life and enjoy the road along the way. Nothing wrong with seeing something new, taking a few extra minutes to enjoy the drive... and if you can cut some time out of traffic that's a bonus!

Next time take the short route.
I used to take longer routes because I didn't see any reason to go home. I don't anymore because these are boring as fuck.

Pleasure yourself when you opt to take the long way. But wait until you get home before you finish yourself off. That way you can relax, have a nice dinner, and enjoy the nightly news!

Well it's definitely not the scenic route. Idk if I could have any pleasure in traffic. It's too unsettling
