Is it normal to take shower's only when i notice that my hair is oily?

I only take showers if I notice that my hair is oily or if I stink really Really REALLY BAD then I'll take a shower. I just don't have time to take out 10 minutes of my day to take a shower. Sometimes I may feel dirty but really am not and I'll go take a shower and have a mini spa day. Can anybody relate?

      You got me there.......

      Well honestly, I
      1. Don't like taking showers and
      2. Feel I don't need to ( unless if I stink or my hair is oily) and
      3. for the 10 minutes usually I spend my time eating so....

Cut your hair short so that even if you have to take a shower it can be quick so that you can concentrate on eating😂

True but I've been wanting to dye my hair and grow it out long and it takes me forever to grow it but that is very good advice

Showers are nice once in a while, wear a hat if your hair is oily. Superficial presentation bullshit is just that, superficial. Worry more about what you do the other 23 hours and 50 minutes of the day

True with worrying about what to do the other 23 hours and 50 minutes of the day ( I can't tell if it was sarcastic or not)

Not sarcastic. People get all caught up in little bs superficial details and societal expectations and forget to live their lives.

same (tho not sure if it's normal or not).
as long as you're not smelly or dirty it's probably fine.

i heard showering every second day is most healthy for your skin and hair.

I'M still not sure if it's normal or not because when I was younger my mom would always get mad if I didn't shower EVERY day.
      Thx for the comment!<3

It's normal to to take a shower or a bath everyday in the Western world.

I am in the North-Eastern part of the United States so I understand how this may not be normal.

I live near Houston, Texas so a shower a day is normal, and it's not unheard of to take two especially if you've been working out.
