Is it normal to suffer like this?

I've had fibromyalgia for going on 11 years now. I've tried everything there is to help me live with this painful disorder and nothing, not even pain medication, massages, NOTHING helps me live somewhat of a normal life. I'm 28 years old and feel to young to be suffering like this on a daily basis! Is this normal for people with chronic pain? Am I doomed to live my entire life like this?!

Lose the born-again Christian crap. This lady's suffering and needs help. God gave you a brain to help you solve your own problems. Find a holestic MD. They use medications and lifestyle changes.

Be ‘born-again’ saved Christian, and then ask GOD for help in your situation. I’ve been through major medical trauma that the Dr. ask me even to this day that I can give inspiration to others. And ask me “How did you do it?” I didn’t, GOD did it all for me. I just went along for the ride, and you can do the same thing. This may sound generic, but really it is TRUE. TRUE I say.

It is the worst during my period. I've been dealing with this for so long I've kinda given up hope. I start pain management on may 1st so hopefully they can help me.

My sister and I both suffer and we are 25 & 23. It sucks but we are both learning to live with it. I just read somwhere that around your period it tends to flair up.

Same, but I got better when I addressed the emotional issues that in turn were causing me physical pain. Best of luck
