  • There are some people who are born with a gift from God it seems that enables them to become prodigies at a young age but these people are very small compared to most. Most started off as a beginner and worked hard every day and slowly but surely, skill just fell into place. Not-so-important-but-on-topic-examples:

Any fighting game I've played online, I'll get it, practice a little, go online and get freakin' stomped. Then I go and look at more guides and have days of practice for straight hours, go online and use said combos, get better, repeat repeat, then suddenly I've gotten very good and I get compliments. Guitar Hero, Stepmania? One day I said "Man those people are playing the hard difficulties so easily, I want to try", so I got the games, could only play slow and easy songs but in 3 months, I was playing exactly like the pros on Youtube because I played every darn day. I look back on the songs I used to never pass and think "Wow, I had so much trouble on this.." and perfect the thing. Now the only songs that excite me are the difficult ones.

The only reason anyone makes something look easy is because what you're seeing is the result of a long time worth of mistakes and hard work. They didn't do it in a day and it won't be that way for you but you can do it, just don't defeat yourself before you even try and the rewards will come later.
