What makes you think you have to talk to your gf all the time when you are together? Sometimes, just being together should be enough.
After 6 months you should know each other well enough and be comfortable enough that often words are unnecessary. As to the constant comms while apart, perhaps your gf is a tad insecure and wants a bit of reassurance that you love her. Perhaps she just misses you when you're apart?
Sometimes I get a bit aloof about the attention my gf heaps on me during her affectionate times, but quickly remember how much I would have appreciated just one little kiss, when I had nobody.
