Is it normal to stop stop talking altogether?
I'm normally a fairly verbally responsive person. However, in the past few months, I've been considering to stop talking altogether. I just don't see a point to talk to anyone. Most people would assume an untalkative person is an angry and/or unfriendly person. And others would comment such a person as being a "retard". Well, I don't care what other people think. Besides, even if I did care, people are going to think whatever they want anyway. So what's the point? I refuse to compel people to like and favor me. It takes too much energy to do so, and often, does quite the contrary, as far as my efforts go, that is. Anyways, I'm decided as far as not talking ever again. But is it normal? I, myself, don't see very many "voluntary mutes", if you will. Drop me a line. I'm curious as to your thoughts on this matter. Thank you.
