bad idea. the past is the past for a reason. if you and your current boyfriend don't work out, and your ex is still available, then maybe consider giving him another chance.. but only then. why hurt your current boyfriend whom you love?
sounds to me like your ex is jealous that you're with someone else and he's alone. hence why he stopped talking to you when he got a new girlfriend, and is now talking to you again since they broke up. he doesn't want to be with you, he just doesn't want you to be with anyone else.
if you love the one you're with, then don't ruin that for anything. love is a rare, beautiful and powerful thing. i can't fathom why anyone would throw that away..
