You know, there are a whole hell of a lot of great books out there, for adults, that aren't filled with sex.
If you are looking for entertainment, there are so many books out there that you couldn't read a 10th of them in your lifetime.
Reading kids books is just a cop out, probably because reading is difficult for you, and your reading skills are not going to improve without reading something more challenging than kids books.
This is not to say you may not read whatever you choose, but you are missing a great deal of really fun and thought provoking literature out there.
I can read, so you don't have to be rude. Reading kid books is like my guilty pleasure. I don't read easy ones, I read ones meant for teens. I do read adult books, like murder mysteries and stuff like that, I'm just sick of romance. I used to read that kind of stuff, but now I'm sick of it. It all ends the same. Two people fall in love. The girl gets pregnant. They get married. The end.
So how well did the movie follow the book? Most movies do a mediocre job of following the book, I've found and are usually a disappointment after reading the book.
Is it normal to still read kid books??

Well OK. Think of a movie you would like to see. Go read the book first. I did this with "Hunger Games".
