Yes, it's normal to miss one's dog. I'm going to miss mine alot when she goes too someday. Dogs tend to be quite beloved members of one's family. I hope your dog rests in peace and is happy up in the Giant Sky Garden or you know, where ever the souls of pets go. I just hope that a person is reunited with their pets in death.
