Is it normal to still miss him and leave him messages?

Long story short, I had a best friend who I managed to be really close to even though we lived in different countries, now idk if he's even alive. It's been 4-5 months and I leave him messages on the thing we used to talk on. I mustve left him like 100 or more messages. I guess I just keep hoping somehow he'll see them and reply. But Im kinda 90% sure that'll never happen. I'd give up a lot to talk to him even one more time. It's true you don't know what you had until it's gone!!!! :O

    he is just not that into you. maybe he finds you to be a nuisance if he is just ignoring you. that really sucks. i would hate to be that person who gets ignored.

    That happened to me too. Only i found this friend on facebook after 5 years (no kidding. it was crazy.) We chatted a little at first, but then it died down. I ended up blocking him because there was no point. I was upset that he never talked to me and i felt like a pest for every message i sent. I think you're better off just forgetting about him. at least try to. Do everything you can to keep yourself from thinking about it. I think you're normal :)

    I had that happen to me too but I guess time has healed me... I too haven't heard from an old friend in ages and I'm positive I never will (he said he was going to war) so there's a big chance he's dead... I lost my account that I used to talk to him on too. Just hold on there. Maybe he will show up unexpectedly.
