I stop to look at dead animals too, especially when their organs are exposed. A few years ago a hawk flew into my garden and bit the head of a pigeon clean off, watching the headless corpse decay day by day until eventually it’s bones were scavenged was fascinating.
There was a series a while ago on itv called “Inside Nature’s Giants” in which they dissected an elephant and blue whale corpse, amongst other large animals, you might enjoy it.
Is it normal to stare a dead animals?

That seems like a cool series! I'm going to see if I can watch it later. Thanks for the suggestion!
