Is it normal to stalk someone?

While stopped at a crosswalk in my car, I saw an Asian women smile at a white guy who ignored her because he was on his phone, which told me she was single and liked white guys. So I parked my car and followed her to her apartment. The next day I got up early and waited for her to come out, then followed her to work. She got on the bus so I tried to be inconspicuous. At lunch she went to a cafe and that's where I started talking to her and asked her out, she said okay so we have a date tomorrow and things will be normal after that but I can't tell anyone I stalked her. So my question is, is it normal to stalk someone but then have a normal relationship afterwards and never tell them what you did?

    If you end up marrying her then tell her that story. Otherwise it's probably not safe to mention it.

      Yeah, if it were me I would share the stalker bit with her until we have happily celebrated ten, twenty years together. Better safe than sorry.

    I would say stalking is more of a long term thing. You should be fine. I followed my old man around for a while saying I wanted to chill with his sister.

    I just finished watching “you” and that’s super creepy and so is this. And no stalking and fallowing people watching them is not normal. Find a date in a regular way without being a creepy fuck. You know where she lives and works and eats by stalking her wtf.

        The guy fallowed her saw where she lived and stalked her. Idk maybe OP won’t kill people for this person but besides that I see it’s pretty similar. Because I think it’s not normal and creepy that I’m over reacting? 😂 okay

        Also yes this did remind me of “you” for many reasons.

            Well got some issues if you gotta stalk someone in general but it sounds obsessive af if more obsession grows will it ever stop. It’s already to far 😖

    No, stalking is like if you were setting up a camera in her bathroom so you could watch her shower, take a dump, and see her phone when she texts "bang yo yang no tang mang fow bow wow uh boo pyong yang dong dang..."
