So, recently, I went to band camp, and I met someone who captured my heart. Once I got back, I couldn't stop thinking about him. So I went online, hit google, and typed in his name. I found alot of information. Then, I went to myspace, and I found his hometown. I headed back to google and added this. After a few days, I found his parents names, his school, his graduation photos, his mom's facebook, his parent's job's phone number (they own a buiness), the address, all that stuff. My I told my friends about this and they called me a stalker. Jokingly, of course, they are my friends. But is this normal?

    You are Normal. I think you should tone it down a bit though. Normal today, insane tommarrow. So far it's all normal and O.K., but don't try following him around in bushes and stuff. THAT is where you cross from normal to stalker. Have Fun.

    It's normal to a certain extent yes. As long as you're not obsessing all the time and stalking his every single move lol.

    i think every girl does this to some extent. just don't get too carried away and embarrass yourself. in fact, i wouldn't even tell anyone else about this little past time of yours or else people will think you're a creep.

    lurking is normal, like checking his myspace, fbook, etc...i do that. but being a stalker is creepy and pushes someone away more..so yeah you might wanna tone it down a bit.

    Do you intend to contact him? Does he know you from camp? Your research certainly indicates a lot of curiosity. But I guess it can't be considered all that private if it is online. I h=guess contact him like a normal person (met you at camp, wanted to stay in touch...) or drop it.
