Whenever I see a sink I HAVE to spit in it. Whether I'm washing my hands in it, or I'm just passing by it in Lowe's. I seriously doubt its normal, and since i spit in sinks that people might potentially buy, I feel bad. So I've taken to bringing sanitizing wipes with me to stores that sell sinks... Because i just HAVE to spit in them.
This is OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder):
Obsessive: because you obsess over doing it.
Compulsive: because you have a compulsion to do it.
Disorder: because there is no logical reason to do it.
OCD is very normal, and is just learned behaviour. You need to re-condition your thinking process by restraining yourself from spitting in sinks. Remember, there is no reason to do it, so why not stop? It can be harder said than done, but practice makes perfect. And if you don't try, you'll never kick the habit.
