Is it normal to spend so much time on this website?

I notice from reading the comments that some people for instance have left in excess of 34000 comments! Is it normal to spend so much time judging other peoples' normality? I jus like spending a few minutes here havin a laugh, but 34000 comments at appx 2 mins per story + thinking + comment = a solid six and three quarter weeks - plus what about all the stories that they didn't find comment-worthy?!
That's a collossal ammount of .... what? avoiding doin yer homwork/tax return? vicarious voyeurism? compassion for the human condition? or perhaps an inflated sense of inner wisdom lol? I don't know! Maybe i could answer that in about six and three-quarter weeks from now....
