Take my ex for example: I called her "jezebel" (referencing to the new testament Revelation 20:4 I think) and called her an icon of sin. I also referenced her to Judas and Jesus' last supper. Ending our relation with "It would be better for him if she had not been born"
Jezebel seems to be quite a popular one, so that wouldn't be extremely unusual. It's one of those biblical references that have mingled into popular usage (along with things such as "fire and brimstone.") I guess it does make for some interesting wordplay.
I like it. It sounds epic and amusing. I say carry on!
Is it normal to speak in this manner?
