Is it normal to smash things with a metal bat.

Is it normal for me to want to take a metal bat and smash every t.v in the house to shreds and then take all the pieces and burn them in a big fire in my back yard? There are five and no one ever turns them off except at bed time and im so sick of it!!! Also is it normal to want to rip my boyfriends driod out of his hand at dinner and smash it up against the wall?
