Is it normal to sleep with/date your best friends sibling?

I've known my best friend for a long time, and obviously her family. One drunken night I slept with her younger brother (we're both over 18). I felt so guilty about it but he seemed to have no remorse at all (even though he has a gf). We never did anything about it or talk about it again though.

Less than a year later somehow I ended up hooking up with, and eventually sleeping with, her other brother (again, over 18) except this time there was no alcohol involved. We're still seeing each other but she has no idea.

So, is it normal? I mean, I've heard stories from TV/movies but not in real life.

    My older brother is a really good looking guy and all of my friends have crushes on him. most of my friends have fooled around with him or dated him. My brother is like my best friend. We kind of work as a team. When i have a pretty friend over hell text her and try to convince her to go in his room. My job is to basically tell my friend that they really should. and they do. I used to be really defensive about it but now im practially recruiting my friends for my brother. haha. It think its completely normal.

    you should be honest with your friend.
    i can see how the attraction happened though. you go over to their house and they are comfortable and they are natural in their house so you know they arent putting on an act and that they are comfortable with you.

    Normal. It happens all the time. If you know your friend would freak out if she found out, that would be your only problem.

    yes i think it is normal. you have been friends with the girl and known her brothers for a long time, therefore i'd assume you're pretty comfortable with them and have even developed a crush on them, and them with you. i guess sleeping with them is natural progression (if you're lucky, which you seem to be!).
