Is it normal to sleep naked?

Ever since I was a little kid, I hated wearing pajamas. They gave me a serious rash, and they all felt uncomfortable. But one time, when I went to a high school camp, and slept without anything on. They continue to tease me about it, even though its been a year and a half now. I now realize that it probably wasn't the best thing to do, considering that it was a very politically correct crowd, but is it normal in general to sleep with nothing on? (I have done a lot of research on the subject, because it is really bugging me, and one proffesional said that "People who are uncomfortable with the human body, have insecurities.) Sorry if it was a bit long.

  • It's completely normal to sleep nude- in the privacy of your own bedroom.

    • Thanks, but do you think its abnormal enough for a year and a half of teasing? Just to clarify.

      • No, I think they need a life. Maybe a joke or two the next day is normal (not right, but normal), but certainly not a year and a half.
I'd say you have more reason to make fun of them after such a time.

I'd flash em the ol' boobs by this point, personally.

  • This is normal. If it were abnormal, there'd be a plausible explanation as to why. Which I assume your friends don't have. They only poke fun because of their own insecurity to fit in. So they're just as much doubtful as you are.

  • Yes normal, whatever.

The 'kids', easily pick up what upsets you and then act on that (words, teasing etc) You need to show them that it doesn't effect you any longer. They will then stop.

  • The kids that made fun of you were, well, kids.

Sleeping in the nude is totally normal.
