Is it normal to sing to your cat?

100% normal.

My cat loves my rendition of Iron Maiden's classic, Bring your daughter to the slaughter.

I dance with my dogs. It's fun, nice and normal.

My cat's reactions to my songs depends on the musical notes I use. There are certain notes that he doesn't like at all, and inmediately starts runnning and meowing weirdly, like he wants me to stop. But when I hit the right notes he is relaxed and his look is the same as when I pet him.

I adapt songs to include my cat's names. It's totally normal.
