I got a toothbrush in the shower and was bored, I'm not homosexual in any way, but it feels pretty good to jack off while having something up your ass.. But I put almost the whole thing up my ass,only bout 3-4 inches left of it showing out, first I did it bristle bit of the brush at the bottom, and the second time I put it in a bit further, with the bristle going up my ass and afterwards I take it out, there is blood on it so I was freaking out and there were similar people asking similar questions about is it bad to use a toothbrush, and someone said it is dangerous to use the bristle of a brush, it can damage your anal tissue or something like that, and it can cause serious infections or a possibility of death, now I was wondering will I die, I am majorly freaking about this please help? Will I die? After I saw that they were possibility of death, I almost vomited and cried, I saw this in two sites, but they were wiki answers and yahoo answers so I'm not sure if its true, it's been a day and I'm not feeling any pain whatsoever, but Im still scared, please tell me all the information you know about this..

    I doubt you are going to die.
    Just stop doing that. If there is blood it is a good sign to discontinue ass brushing.
    I hope you do not use the same toothbrush on your teeth.

    Wait wait wait.... You couldn't trust wikipedia or yahoo-- so you came HERE??? Aahaaa...

    Seriously though, If it gets worse within like 2-3 weeks- itching on the inside, burning, more bleeding, go to a doctor. And don't put anything up there for a bit.
    Afterwards though, just buy yourself a toy that's made for that. It's safer and it'll feel better.

    You should be fine just next time don't use the bristle side. Take it from me I have a tooth brush in my ass right now and I'm a guy. If you can just get a dildo they feel much better. If you can't just stick to the tooth brush bristle side out

    How did it turn out? You okay? Feel bad for you that you were freaking out & sick to your stomach in fear. Your question is 4 years old so my post is redundant. But posting anyway **in case someone is currently in a similar situation.
    **I'm not a healthcare professional. My concerns and advice:

    Since you posted within a day of the incident...
    If there was just a little blood on the toothbrush & no bleeding or pain afterward, I think it's safe to assume you were not in immediate danger.
    For the most part, I agree with
    iEatZombies_ post. (Besides waiting a couple weeks. If there were symptoms he/she stated-important to seek medical attention right away)

    Anal tissue is easy to tear & more susceptible to infection. Severe infections that are left untreated can lead to hardcore issues. Sepsis spreads quickly & can be fatal. Travels through the blood (is a blood infection I believe). But that's not just an anal thing-can enter through most any part of the body/skin.
    It's also possible to perforate the rectum/colon and surrounding organs with the use of items such as toothbrushes. If that was the situation-I think it's safe to assume you would know right away, as that would be painful.

    To conclude-
    Be prepared
    It's easy to throw caution to the wind when a person is in the moment-- totally horny & in a frenzy to use whatever you can find.
    Safest situation: would be not to insert anything in the rectum.
    Realistically: use clean, soft & lubed you that's made for that.
