Is it normal to shave your upper lip?

Get Nair. The special facial kind. It works great. And you only need to use it once a week for 6 minutes. Not longer than 6 and no sooner than a week or it will get a rash.

I get mine waxed but that is just because I have very dark hair.

My hair is almost black - I shave my upper lip. Nothing different happens - it doesn't grow back darker, faster, nothing. Its better than leaving it - one of my friends has a rank mustache that she bleaches.. She seems to think that does the trick, but it is EXTREMELY noticeable.. :(

There is a cream that the dermatologist can prescribe. It inhibits facial hair growth. If it's dark get it lasered off. When you wax you have to wait for growth. Nair is a giood suggestion if it doesn't burn your skin.

People will try to tell you not to...that it will grow in thicker. That's not true BUT it will look that way because once you use a razor it alters the way your hair grows back....making it appear darker. Don't do it.
