I am the same. I shave it all off. The skin is very soft and smooth with no hair and less smelly/itchy. Plus it feels nice to be naked this way.
I would love to laser it all off but haven't found a cheap way to do that yet, maybe one day.
It doesn't hurt anyone else, in fact it's really none of their business, and they will never know unless you tell them or show them.
Thongs are nice, but try a pair of ballz-out men's thong underwear sometime (made by GoodDevil) and you will be hooked, very fun/sexy.
