So I have shaved down there before and hated it. And so I stopped shaving there, and so far guys have been fine with it. Then the other night this guy gets completely turned off when he finds out and wont even look at me until i "get something done about that" So is that how most guys react or is that just an odd pet peeve?

What an ass, seriously that guy wouldn't have even been worth it to go farther with if he's gonna act like that. Your body, your rules.
Electrology. Expensive, takes a long time and WAAAAAAY tingly but worth it.

I HATE shaving! It gets so rashy, and itchy. I just keep a neat trim, but not so short that it's uncomfortable.
Its all about preference, so its normal either way. I personally feel icky if I dont shave, so I do...but def not because some doucher told me too. Whats not normal is how HE reacted, it was incredibly rude! As people above said...theres always a happy medium if youre worried about it, just trim up.
It's rude and arrogant to tell someone to "get something done about that". How would he feel if you said it about a part of his body?
However, most people's tastes have shifted towards ever more aggressive depilation. A bit of trimming and shaping is probably the bare minimum most people expect nowadays. Doesn't mean you have to conform to that, though. People who don't follow the crowd are usually more interesting.
I would run screaming from the horrid odor trap. Seriously, if you don't like shaving...then ok...but at least trim it down close to the skin.
