Better to a friend than to someone anonymous. Yeah, stop though. YOu sent the nudes, he probably thought you were joking or going through a mid life thing. It may not be that he is bi, so don't pressure him.
He may be waiting to show you in person rather than a pic. I like receiving nudes of my friends. I don't keep them, I delete them as soon as I get them. But if they feel inclined to take one, no problem.
