The alphabet soup mental disorders, as I call them are usually made up by doctors of one sort or another in order to get their patients to spend as much as they can afford (or more in some cases)to treat non-existent conditions.
If you are diagnosed with one of these maladies, you have just as much, if not more, power to cure yourself and move on with your life, as any doctor has. But if you are lazy, unmotivated and spineless then you will sit around in a prescribed drugged out stupor, allowing your one and only life to slip away, unnoticed.
You may not choose to have a malady, but how you deal with it is all your choice.
