Is it normal to self diagnose mental disorders?

  • These days, especially thanks to wikipedia and "ask a doctor dot com" (something like that) we can diagnose our own "mental illnesses" with the help of the internet and not some collegiate who has spent thousands for a sheet of paper that tells the public they are "certified" to "help" you.

    Long story short and all matters aside, these days, its not surprising that we have a "diagnosis" for each and every single little fucking thing that if anything is just, human nature.

    As a Human race: most evolved form of genealogy to date, we should learn to draw a line between clinically "crazy" and in need of help and the line between "medication" and over priced drugs that as it seems, more addictive then something like tobacco or alcohol.

    There is therapy, there is "medication", and then there is a real understanding of the complex human mind.

    Just because you have an "owie" doesn't mean you need a bandaid.
