Is it normal to see your heartbeat?

I'm 21 now, my whole life I have been able to see my pulse in my vision. It's like a dark foggy pattern that appears mostly in my peripheral vision. When I exercise or get nervous (when my pulse rises basically) the darkness is obviously more frequent and it also becomes more severe. Sometimes it gets really bad and almost my entire vision goes black at each beat if my heart, but only if I'm doing some serious work. Oh, and I can also hear and feel my heart beat in the sides of my head when it's beating hard. Is any of this normal??

Yeah, high blood pressure can cause visual symptoms like that. It's important you get to a doctor, it's easy to fix- one little pill a day- but leaving it alone can be very very dangerous. Strokes and heart attacks may occur.

Synesthesia is something you should research, but yeah, I would still get it checked out.
