I have been testing this myself for years and it's still an ongoing observation. I was raised and did think in terms of science for all childhood up to part of adulthood. My grandpa was a preacher and taught highschool science, so strict science.
I didn't look for or pay attention to my atmosphere in that way. Until..
I had something happen in my life that changed it forever and the number 3 showed up standing out, it didn't belong. I thought it was odd. Brushed it off.
Year later a friend died and again , not searching for anything, there was the number 3. Oh well the world is full of random occurrences.
I then met and fell in love with a man I ended being with for 10 years. He had a lot happen with number 3 including his mom's suicide. He could not have planned some that I saw after we were together.
His only item from Mom was a necklace, he cherished it. Let's just say that he lost it and the number 3 showed up in an impossible way with that necklace that had went through a couple of cities and many people before magically coming back. Right after stuff would end up missing in a little apt. Then 1 item would be there out in open where we walk, in plain view and the number 3 was somewhere with it. One time it was keys so we tore up and cleaned entire studio but couldn't find it. 3 weeks later we were doing something and we moved couch out and there was a huge pile with all we had been missing along with 3. We were the only ones that entered place and were with each other every moment.
It never stopped there and still pops up. It always shows up with a "hey pay attention to me" snap, but it showed with positive and negative events, possible life lesson and totally useless events. I always think of any outcome that could occur from each event in my life, make it a game. I have theories but I do now believe there is something being said with each person's personal number, but you can't always watch for it or you may project occurrences that aren't important. If you look for it you may create it's happening or convince yourself it's the number when it is a far reach.
