Is it normal to see people this way?

When I look at people I don't know, no matter how "hot" they are, I am not attracted to them. Physical attraction to a stranger is something I know nothing about. I can tell the difference between someone okay looking and someone grotesque- I'm not completely oblivious. But I only start to like someone once I get to know them and get a feel for their personality (and like it, obviously.) When someone asks me "what do you think of that person/that celebrity?" all I can tell them is how I think OTHER people might see them. Also, I'm basically gender blind in terms of attraction, if that makes a difference. Gender just never seemed to matter to me and I'm almost confused as to why it does for most people. Any thoughts? Btw, I'm a girl.

    I think you are as you should. You're normal. Most of us are shallow, and many not by choice. We are surrounded by people asking what we think of strangers, the media, and all that. It's rare you're still like that, but definitely real and good. Stay real :)

    we have decided bi (or pansexual but same thing) is fine with us
