Is it normal to see a stranger twice in two weeks and now I can't stop thinking about him?

I just moved to NYC two weeks ago to start a new job I got in CT. The first day of my job on the train ride back from CT, I saw this really cute guy. We locked eyes a couple of times but I'm not sure if he just thought I was weird for staring. Anyway, its New York City and I was 100 percent sure I would never see him again. Then yesterday, for the life of me I could not get out of bed to go work. Usually in the mornings I take the 6:58 or 7:37 train to CT, however yesterday I had to take the 8:04 train and after I sat down the really cute guy came on the train...SAME CAR!!! Now I don't believe in fate or whatever and it may have all a nice coincidence. However, I do think he's really cute and my friends all said I should have talked to him, but I'm incredibly awkward around guys. What if I never see him again, and what if I do..what do I do? I've always been an hopeless romantic, even though I'm 23 and never been in a real relationship. When I like a guy I'm usually mean to him...think Helga and Arnold from Hey Arnold.

    If you see him again make a joke about running into each other repeatedly, or just casually bring up that you've been seeing him around. Either way, you already have something interesting to talk about so just talk to him!

    You should make the most of coincidences like that, it's like getting a double chance to meet someone you're attracted to.
