Probably not the best idea to use anything that pointy or sharp to scratch anything. Might feel good when doing it, but after..You're going to have dry skin and make it worse. Few years ago, my neighborhood had a flea problem (odd, since it's pretty upscale), including my house.
I couldn't take any more, and went into my garage and scratched the hell out of my legs with a wire brush. Made such a mess out of them that it took months to heal and not look like my legs were attacked by a monster with steel nails. Can't imagine scratching my balls with a fork..Ouch.
