Is it normal to say "i love you" to someone you haven't met irl

I have been talking to a girl online. We have never met, I have never seen a picture of her or heard her voice. I still have this urge to say I love you to her. I can't explain it, we share personal thoughts and I think she is funny, nice and great. Am I pathetic or do others do this too?

YES! I say "I love you" to a guy I never met before either... I live in the USA and he lives in Ireland, lol, but we feel so close still. It's totally normal. You love her for who she is... you can love someone and not actually be IN love with them either.

It's an emotion! No matter what happens, it's how you feel that matters when it comes to your choice of whether you love them or not. You can't help that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you talk to them! Although I'd still be careful since you've never seen her face. Don't make promises until you really know them, okay?

I've been in plenty on ldr!! It's normal to feel attraction towards the person , and a lot of relationships come from online in this generation. I'd still hold back the urge till you find out in she's legit or not! Good luck (:

I fell for a man I met online. It happend quick from friendly conversation to I love you. But he was very hesitant about sending me a pic. The pic he had on the website was a drop dead gorgeous man almost professionally shot. But after weeks of I love you and very deep anD some sexual conversation (we had exchanged numbers) he still wouldn't send me a updated pic after he requested many from me. When he finally did it was indeed not the man in the aforementioned picture but a different man not quit as handsome I suppose. But it didn't matter I had already guessed the original was a fake. I still love him apearently he was scared I wouldn't like his face after falling for me he didnt want me to see the real him and vanishe.

Maybe that's this persons worry aswell.

After you say I love you to a girl you have not met fully she might not like you at all and avoid you. Not a good idea

  • Just to let you all know, didnt work out. I tried my best but pretty sure they were a fake, and when I asked to prove real that got mad, then I got mad and well its been over a few weeks and I've learned my lesson. I will never trust an Internet "girl" again.
