I think this is normal. Having those 3 words said may seem like it requires some fairy tail never-ending affection but that is unrealistic. If at that very point in time you felt like that and meant it then that is great!
Still, I had someone tell me that and then we ended up ending things really soon after that. I took those words heavier than she did unfortunately so you have to really mean it.
