  • It's the doubt and the fear, when someone tells us they want to talk or meet, that means there is a reason. If we don't know the reason that enigma makes us nervous. If we tend to be comfortable on our own space more, be alone, avoid anything that brake our routine comfort zone, we don't want that. That's why you want to avoid it.

    • Thanks, I've had my share of bad experiences in the past, and I prefer more platonic friendships so I tend to become uncomfortable if people want to trade pictures, or if a person says that they like my voice. If someone sounds like they want more than friendship then that tends to displease me, and turn me off. I generally don't appreciate when people send me unsolicited pictures of themselves.

I have a friend who tells me how much he likes listening to my voice, and that does make me kinda uncomfortable despite it being a flattering compliment. I actually know already that I have a good voice, because previous work experience.

      • Wolfman Jack, the famous radio DJ from the 50s had a nice voice. He used to attract lots of creeps just like you do. Creepiness will always be part of the world bcuz normal people get bored with themselves.

Anyway, your mother secretly loves Iggy Pop. You should smoke some dope and listen to some Wolfman Jack.

          • My favorite Wolfman quote of all time is “… Hey baby, lay those hands on my radio and squeeze those knobs.” Whew, hearing that makes you want to howl like a wolf yourself. Lol.

The Wolfman was truly in a league of his own.
