Is it normal to rub silk

Ever since I can remember I have always had a habit of rubbing silk. I'm 20 something now and I still rub silk when I'm just sitting around or when I go to sleep at night. Is that normal or am I the only person in that boat?

    I do this all the time. Its a bit of an obsession these days. Any silky material that makes the right kind of noise and friction. Ribbons, silky dresses, labels on clothes and the inside of jackets.. I'm amazed that none of my friends have noticed yet. I do it near constantly. I'm glad its not just me though!!

    I've been rubbing silk/ polyester since I was a kid and I'm 20 now as well. I've always wondered if there's other people out there that do it.

    That reminds me of a friend who can't sleep without mosquito net wrapped on her feet. She's been doing it since childhood. So your case is similar, only the material differs.
