Is it normal to repeat just a dab

When I get out of the shower , I sometimes put some proactive on my face. And each time I think in my head and repeat " just a dab, that's all you need" from their damn commercial with Jessica Simeon I believe says it. Why? And I think to myself why do you say this everytime

    Lol! "just a little dab, thats all you need." she kind of sounds like a mom telling you not to be wasteful. If i used proactive id probably hear the voice in my head, too.

    I do the same thing. I connect thoughts with actions. Don't worry it'll go away after a while it does for me at least.
