Is it normal to remember this well?

Is it normal to remember about 97 % of your childhood?

My earliest memory is when I was one year old and I remember crying .
I can remember more from when I was two .

I have told i have a good memory and i don't need to practice much on tests at school .

Is It Normal?

You should try to learn difficult things like other languages and even about our universe, you'd be a good scientist.

  • The reason most of us don't remember our earlier years is because of something called infantile amnesia, which is said to be caused by a number of reasons, including the parts of the brain involved in memory not being fully developed yet. I don't know enough about it to be sure, but I guess it could be possible that your brain developed earlier than most peoples'. I would say that it's not normal, but you are fortunate to have such a good memory.

  • You have a very vivid memory. I remember mostly everything in the past 5-6 years, and just bits and pieces from my childhood.

  • Sounds like BS

  • Sounds extraordinary. Try taking advance classes at your school. Most classes are purely memorization.

  • I read about a woman that remembers everything. She has an illness. Doesn't sound too good when they call it an illness but I think it's amazing.
