Is it normal to remember a song i've only heard once as a baby?

I recently recognized a song, I've never heard before... It came on the radio and I remembered when I was a baby. I remembered our old house, I remembered where my parents were in the house that day and remembered being in our living room, staring at the stereo, while the song was playing. It was ELO's The way life's meant to be. When I told my parents, they smiled and told me this was true. They do remember me staring at the stereo in awe as the song was playing, something I would never normally do.

How weird and cool is that?! To remember something after 23 years! It's also a great song.

That is pretty cool. Few people have any memories going back that far, but it's not completely unknown.

That is cool. It is uncommon to remember anything before 2 or 3, those are the ages of my earliest memories. I still sometimes remember a little bit the amazing feeling of wonder that went with being 2 or 3 also, experiencing things for the first time, but the memories are vague.
Alot of times were the feelings of amazing wonder, but there was also sometimes fear because I didn't understand things yet. But the amazing wonder happened more. To be 2 or 3 again and experiencing everything for the first time again

One of the first songs I ever remember hearing was Billy Joel's Just the way you are. I was born in 1975, that song came out in 1977, so I was 2 or 3 when hearing it.

I think it's normal. Something you care about brought back an early memory/flashback. I wish I could experience that.
