Surely you are capable of better behaviour. You say you don't like her much nor find her attractive nor respect her - but are willing to pretend you do? That's not settling. That's condescending and insincere. And the wait and shop around attitude is scheming.
Really, just let her go. She doesn't deserve you - of that you can be assured, but not in the way you imagine.
