You don't mean free, you mean tax-funded. Nothing in life is free. Even with the best intentions, medical workers deserve compensation for their work. In the end, they have families to feed too.
You not paying the bill runs the risk of them having to jack their prices up. Regardless of what you think, you're going to regret it when you go in for a loan and your credit is shredded with unpaid bills.
I'm not saying that your political beliefs are flawed, but your reasoning to not pay bills is not sensible.

What the hell would I need a loan for?
Canada, it's free and the workers get paid. And it all works just fine.
