I'm turning 19 soon and I feel like the only person I know that's never been asked out. I'm very different to a lot of people so that's probably why. But is it normal to reach the age of 20 and have never been asked out?
Why are you asking about 20 year-olds when you’re still 18?
Honestly this is going to depend enormously on whether you’re male or female, introverted or extraverted and how often you hang out with the opposite sex (assuming you’re straight?).
The best way around this is to buckle up and ask people yourself instead of standing around like a wallflower and hoping, which I get the impression is likely your current strategy.
Also I’ve known a few 20+ year-old introverts who had never been asked out despite being perfectly nice and reasonably good looking. It’s likely a reflection on your situation and socialising habits rather than you.
I'm ambiverted, male and mostly straight. I've asked out 5 different people since I turned 14. It's not super bad but I just want to make sure I'm not doing something super wrong. By the looks of things, we're at 44% normal so I feel a lot better about all this.

I didn't start dating until I was almost 18 years old, and I was a virgin until I was 19.
I first got asked out when I was 15. I was not ugly, I was just hopeless with the ladies, really shy and awkward.
Being 20 and not being asked out is not normal because even me -- got asked out :)
