Heh, one of first girlfriends was an American studying over here and she liked it so much that she used to mimic me (pretty well, too) and it became a greeting, a question, an exclamation, and sometimes even an "I love you" depending on how it was said.
I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out of the supermarket because you can imagine what happened in the cereal aisle when we got to the Coco Pops.
Is it normal to randomly say " I hate monkeys " whenever I remember...
