Thank you. I think I got unlucky and picked the wrong person anyway. I should have known better in some ways.
You know when you are with the right person (by right person, I don't mean "the one" business, just someone you know you can have a long term relationship with) when your feelings just flow automatically and you feel totally comfortable just to be yourself with them. That's what I found anyway. If there's any awkwardness, then they are not the one to spend your time with.
Is it normal to question this about relationships?

I hope you do find it again. And I am sorry you had to deal with all that crap.
I guess the best way to be in a relationship is to just flow with your feelings, I just dont really let myself do that, which maybe I should.

Hmm, I never felt comfortable ever being myself, with anyone. I dont even know what being myself actually is in all honesty.
I feel awkward sitting there just me and my dog.
