Border collie/kelpie cross, both energetic working dog breeds, so she has lots of energy even though she's not young and is rather unpredictable, but then so am I!
I wanna tell you. I washed dishes from 12 til 16 to buy my kelpie. She is half workng breed half show. I spent 2k to get her. I paid to fly her here from peŕth.
Okay, just wondering. I worked every summer on a farm myself. I have shoveled my share of you know what. Oh, and bailing hay as someone allergic to hay.
Mine only cost me the spaying & vaccination fee from the shelter and I was her last chance before euthanisation. I can't imagine buying a dog when there are so many waiting in shelters.
Yes there are plenty of dog shelters in the USA. Ppl are really starting to go for rescue dogs, but the puppy mills and irresponsible owners are still winning.
Kelpies and border collies are very energetic. I have a 12 and 5 year old kelpie atm. The 12 year old still wants to run but her heart gives a bit so i have to slow her down. My 5 year old can out run a ute hehe i love them so much.
Is it normal to punish dogs when they do something bad or bark

I live in america so it was the plane fare to get her here. I only ever have kelpies.
