  • If someone tells me something about their personal life and I think (or know) it's a lie, I'll let it slide unless I think it's more than a white lie. White lies aren't exactly fine by me, but I accept that people might have a legitimate reason for telling them that is more important than my need to know whatever the truth is.

What's the opposite of a "white lie"? A black lie? A colourful lie? A dark lie? A red lie, like the red IIN sheep? :P He's a shifty looking character; I wonder what he's hiding?

I'm more likely to confront people about their red sheep lies because those lies could potentially conceal something important, not just from me but from other people too. People who lie or misrepresent the truth about politics or science or anything like that in an argument are a right pain. I can understand why you'd enjoy to play dumb though.
